 | Specially developed for ovens with an automatic pyrolytic self-cleaning system, the oven doors are protected by four layers of insulating glass. When the interior temperature reaches about 735°F, the outside surface of the door does not heat up to more than 104°F. Even when the automatic pyrolytic self-cleaning system is in operation, the oven door cannot heat up to more than 365°C. The handle for the oven door is on the side, away from the hot spots of the door. The door, which can be mounted with the hinges on the left or right, can be opened to an 180° angle. |

 | A rotisserie is a special highlight of the broiler system: several pieces of poultry or meat can be grilled side - by - side on the robust rotisserie, which is driven by a powerful motor. The rotisserie, which can be used with any of the heating modes, can be stopped to enable the food being broiled to be basted. A broiler pan is provided to catch dripping fat.
Super Quick preheating
Gaggenau's Super Quick preheating control activates the hot air heating and the lower heating element together to dramatically reduce preheating times.
Clean Enamel
The Gaggenau EB 270 built-in oven is furnished with Clean Enamel, a special enamel coating to which food does not easily stick. After "normal" operation, the oven can be easily cleaned with a sponge and soapy water if you do not wish to use the pyrolytic self-cleaning system.
Catalyst for Air Cleaning
Optional special catalytic liners are an alternative cleaning system. The special catalytic enamel finish applied to the removable inner panels of the oven offer a simplified method of oven self-cleaning. Deposits inside the oven are broken down at temperatures of over 390°F when the oven is in use and will disappear - or after the cleaning setting has been selected (approx. 570°F) when the oven is empty. |
